이클립스 파일 저장시 아래와 같은 이유로 에러가 나는 경우가 있다.
save could not be completed.
Reason:
some characters cannot be mapped using “ISO-8859-1” character encoding.
Either change the encoding or remove the characters which are not supported
by the “ISO-8859-1” character encoding.
인코딩 타입이 맞지 않는 문자가 있어서 저장할 수 없다는 머 대충 그런거 같은데..
이클리스 기본 인코딩 타입이 ISO-8859-1로 지정이 되어 있기 때문에 그런다고 한다.
이 문제를 해결하는 방법.
메뉴 : windows >Preferences > General > Content Types > Text > 파일 타입별로 지정
JSP > Default Encoding > EUC-KR? Or MS949로 변경해주면 된다.

이클립스 – window – preferences – General – Content Types 부분에서
Default encoding 을 MS949 혹은 UTF-8로 변경한 후 update 해보았지만 여전히 저장도 안되고 한글이 깨져서 나옵니다.
어떤 방법으로 해야하는지 궁금합니다. 도움 부탁 드리겠습니다…

소스코드의 한글이 깨지는 이유는 인코딩이 MS949가 아니기 때문이겠지요.
MS949가 아니면서 한글을 쓴다면 UTF-8일껍니다.?
프로젝트 속성->Resource->Text file encoding에서?인코딩을 UTF-8로 지정해보세요.

나의 해결 방법: 해당 메뉴
Window -> Preference-> General -> Content Type -> (오른쪽) Text -> (하단) Default encoding를 UTF-8 로 설정후 Update -> OK?한 후, Save
※ 참고: 만약 대문자가 안되면 소문자?utf-8로 써보세용^^
UTF-8 대신 MS949나 EUC-KR은 안됬음..
